ABOUT ME
I am a down to earth girl who enjoys new encounters and variety in both the countries I visit and the people I meet. I would like to think that I was a friendly individual, yet my shyness sometimes stands in my way...something I am sure that couch surfing could ameliorate :-)
I long to travel again, I have been in one place for too long. But once I am on the move I will be able to open my wings and fly off into experience :-)
Interests
For the past year I have been doing an apprenticeship for a fashion and design diploma, which I have recently finished. I wish to continue working in fashion, at least for the next few months, but in all honesty the course was primarily so that I could make my own clothes ;)
Being down in the pyrenees I am very close to the mountains, a pleasure I absolutely love yet I find I should make more use of them! Wherever there are mountains I feel at home, although I do not let that preference limit my travels ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 15 I went on a boat trip all around the Mediterranean, stopping in a number of countries including Malta, Crete, Corsica etc. We spent nearly six months cruising around this beautiful body of water, letting the horizon envelope us.
On a clear day, off the coast of Tunisia, we floated along, letting the world pass us by, when Jeanne cried out, giggling as she covered her mouth. From below I heard excited chatter and child like laughter. I rushed out of the kitchen, where I left some bread to cook (it finished by breaking the teeth of one of my shipmates, but that is a different story), grabbing my snorkelling gear as I went. People crowded around the edges of the boat, I finally got to see what all the commotion was about. A group of forty Dolphins surrounded the boat, with out thinking I jumped from the edge of the boat. The world below the water was a swirl with life. the dolphins rolled, flapped and twisted themselves around us and the boat. We swam with them for twenty minutes, as they splashed us, leading us a good 100m away from the boat. But as we swam back I knew that this moment would mark me :-)
