About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To step out of my comfort zone and learn as much as I can. It's one step at a time!
ABOUT ME
I was raised in Georgia, lived in Minneapolis, and have since moved to Galway. My experiences with travel has really made me eager to adventure more.
I tend to be awkward around people I first meet, but I love to hear people's stories and experiences, from the craziest things they've done to their day to day lives. I may not talk very much when I first meet you.... or I'll end up talking a lot to compensate.
I’m very much a morning person; waking up with the sun is my specialty.
*I’M CURRENTLY NOT HOSTING DUE TO NEW LIVING ARRANGEMENTS*
* If you are interested in surfing with me, tell me why you think we would be a good host/surfer match. Please do not send me a general request with only details about your trip.
* If you're traveling with a friend or partner, please link their profile in your request - I want to know who I'm welcoming into my home! I will not host your friend if they don't have a CS profile with references.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Been to a few couch crashes as well as meeting up with the Minneapolis crew. I’ve hosted and surfed a few times. I enjoy the warm, accepting personalities that couchsurfing attracts.
Interests
I listening to podcasts, going for walks/hikes, and hanging out with people over a cup of tea. I absolutely love to hear other people's perspectives on current events and everyday life.
Music, Movies, and Books
Podcasts: Criminal, Stuff You Should Know, This American Life, Invisibilia, Snap Judgement, Ear Hustle, Radiolab
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sunrise on Mt. HuaShan's east peak as my legs dangled over the edge.
Celebrated in street parties with everyone in Hanoi when Vietnam won a soccer match.
Moved to Ireland from US
Teach, Learn, Share
I also can share thoughts in Minneapolis culture vs Atlanta culture or just American culture in general. I love a cultural exchange :)
I want to step out of my comfort zone, so I want to learn everything about the world. Open to learning about your line of work, what daily life is like where you’re from, cooking (!), history, etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Open ears, helping hands
