Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To see new places and meet interesting people along the way. Tourist attractions just aren't as fun as discussing and seeing life in that area through the eyes of a local. Plus, everyone has a story to tell!

Interests

Fueled by books, writing, music, and too many donuts. Supporter of cheesy puns. The first things I seek out in a new town are locally-owned bookstores and coffee shops. If there's a brewery, I might eventually find my way there too.

Music: Coldplay, Muse, Weezer, Radiohead, Vampire Weekend, Daft Punk, Tenacious D, The Postal Service, The Shins, 80s pop/rock, 90s alternative, and all those old crooners

Movies: American Beauty, Garden State, Quentin Tarantino's films, and all of John Hughes's coming-of-age teenage shenanigan movies.

Books: Ready Player One, Harry Potter, Pride & Prejudice, and anything written by Chuck Palahniuk.
