🇫🇷 Plutot enjouée, je profite de chaque instant et apprécie les petits bonheurs de la vie. De nature philanthrope et bienveillante, je prends le temps de discuter, d'écouter et partager. Si l'on grandit de ses propres expériences, je pense que prendre conscience de celles des autres est tout aussi important. J'aime la différence, elle doit nous unir plutot que nous séparer. Si l'on apprenait tous des autres, on vivrait plus paisiblement; c'est certain !
Etant encore étudiante, je n'ai pas encore eu les moyens d'assouvir ma soif de voyages. J'ai passé quelques semaines dans le sud de l'Angleterre et quelques mois en Ecosse, mais ces expériences n'ont fait que me persuader qu'il est primordial de s'ouvrir à de nouvelles cultures. Je prévois pour la première fois de quitter le continent pour un Road Trip dans l'Ouest Américan avec mon copain. J'espère y faire de jolies rencontres et repartir la tête pleine de souvenirs.

🇺🇸 Rather cheerful, I enjoy every moment and the small pleasures of life. Philanthropic and benevolent in nature, I take the time to discuss, listen and share. If we grow up from our's own experiences, I think that being aware of those of others is just as important. I like the differences between people, they must unite us rather than separate us. If we all learn from each other, we would live more peacefully; for sure!
Being still a student, I haven't travelled enough to settle for these. I spent a few weeks in the South of England and a few months in Scotland, but these experiences only convinced me that it is essential to open up to new cultures. For the first time, I'm planning to leave the continent for a Road Trip in Western America with my boyfriend. I hope to make some nice meetings and leave the head full of memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

🇫🇷 Je me suis inscrite sur Couch surfing car j'aime rencontrer de nouvelles personnes et surtout échanger et apprendre de leur culture. J'ai réellement pris conscience de l'importance du partage lors d'un voyage linguistique dans le sud de l'Angleterre où j'ai eu l'occasion de me faire des amis venant des quatres coins du globe. On avait différentes cultures mais on avait tous l'envie de découvrir les habitudes et traditions de chacun. C'est en découvrant ce qu'il se passe autour de nous et en prenant conscience des autres que l'on grandit, s'épanouit et se découvre.

🇺🇸 I registered on Couch surfing because I love to met new people and especially to share and learn about their culture. I really realized the importance of sharing during a language trip in the south of England where I had the opportunity to make friends from all over the world. We had different cultures but we all wanted to discover the habits and traditions of our new friends. It is by discovering what is happening around us and becoming aware of others that we grow, open and discover ourself.

🇫🇷 Durant longtemps, j'ai pratiqué le tennis, j'ai fait de la compétion plus jeune, et maintenant je continue en loisir. J'ai également adoré le contact avec le cheval durant mes 6 années d'équitation, c'est un lien très fort entre l'homme et l'animal. On trouve une nouvelle façon de communiquer : c'est vraiment impressionnant de voir le cheval et le cavalier sentir tous deux les émotions de l'autre.

🇺🇸 For a long time, I've practiced tennis. When I was younger, I practiced it in competition, and now I continue in leisure. I also loved the contact with horses during my 6 years of riding, it is a very strong link between the man and the animal. There is a new way of communication: it is really impressive to see the horse and the rider both feel the emotions of the other.

Music, Movies, and Books

🇫🇷 Je suis plutôt sentimentale, alors j'adore les romans et les films à l'eau de rose. J'ai adoré le film "Loving" qui dépeint, avec une super bande son et une atmosphère paisible, l'histoire d'amour de deux époux n'ayant pas la même couleur de peau, en Virginie dans les années 1960. J'ai été émue et admirative devant leur bataille pour la reconnaissance de leur mariage (et l'avancement des droits des afro-américains). Du coté des livres, j'ai été touchée par "La délicatesse" de David Foenkinos qui est plein d'espoirs et de surprises. On rencontre une femme détruie qui se relève grâce à un sourire inattendu (je ne vais pas tout vous raconter, il faut vraiment le lire ; ) !!! )

🇺🇸 I am rather sentimental, so I love romantic novels and movies. I loved the movie "Loving" which depicts, with a great soundtrack and a peaceful atmosphere, the love story of two spouses not having the same skin color, in Virginia in the 1960s. I was affected and admiring of their battle for the recognition of their marriage (and the advancement of the rights of African-Americans). On the books side, I was touched by David Foenkinos's book "La délicatesse" which is full of hopes and surprises. We meet a downcast woman who overcomes thanks to a sudden unexpected smile (I won't tell you everything, you really should read it ; ) !!! )

🇫🇷 Un road trip dans l’Ouest Américain : Los Angeles, San Francisco, Yosemite, Las Vegas, Zion, Bryce Canyon

🇺🇸 One day when I wasn't too early to take my train, I arrived in front of the platform and discovered safety gates that blocked access to the train while it was still there. I then climbed the gates under the rumblings of the security guards, ran along the platform in front of them and finally boarded the train in extremis, at a door without an agent. It was ... surprising to me who is always in good standing.
