About Me

I originally come from Paris and I used to live in Belgium for my first job after achieving my graduation.

Two years ago, I decided to quit my job in business development for exploring the world, sharing cultures and experiencing something new. I want to see the world and learn from people I meet everywhere. And I am still growing everyday since I have started my journey.

I got my travel bug from my grandfather. I went to China with him when I was 16 yo and I was so stimulated. We went in his little village and I just decided to go to the city by myself without any fear to get lost. I think everything started from that...

I left Belgium to travel throughout Australia, New Zealand, SEA and some parts of Canada.
I am back in New Zealand and end up staying for more than a year. I stayed most of my time in Wellington, teaching French. It was fun! I loved it! I'm now traveling to see all the beautiful spots around the country. Most recently I've hiked up the Tongariro Alpines Crossing and it was so amazing! One the most beautiful places I've ever seen. I'm in Queenstown at the moment and going slowly up north to reach Blenheim and planning to go to the Roys Peak, Hooker Valley track, Mt Cook NP, Lake Tekapo and Kaikoura.

I am passionate about cuisine and kind of a foodie. I do love cooking. It's a way to express myself, to feed my curiosity, and make people happy. I am always keen to try any specialities or cook something. Have you ever tried a French crepe flambée or a quiche lorraine?

If you wanna share stories and some meals with a good company, hit me up!

PHILOSOPHY
A day without laughter is a day wasted.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using CS to meet people from all around the world as I am traveling by myself. I hanged out, had good conversations, did some activities, organized some road trips and went on an adventure with friends from different part of the world. Had such great experiences so far.
I also totally support the idea of focusing in sharing and giving without any financial purposes.
It's definitely a good way to make long lasting friendships all around the world and spread kindness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2017: I quit everything to travel the world. It was a big decision to make at this time. Now, I realize it was the best decision I have ever made in my life.

Indonesia: hiked up to the heart of the Kawah Ijen blue fire volcano and went to the Mt Bromo by motorcross in 2018.

Australia: Traveled by my own, lived in 5 different states and volunteered in the outback for 3 months. That was one of the best experience of my life!

China: Walked the great wall of China in 2005
I ate Geoduck (panopea generosa), raw crab meat, century eggs and raw jellyfish. It was interesting! Give it a try if you go to China, it’s an experience! ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook something. We can share a meal, a glass of wine and have interesting conversations.
Or we can do some outdoor activities and hangout. I love playing pool, cycling, running, hiking and camping.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do love cooking and I will be more than happy to share my passion with any hosts/travelers.
I would love to share a good coffee. I am having a thing with the coffee culture right now and I am really keen on trying different ones.
I like to taste different kind of beers sometimes and I do love trying gin as well. I think it’s an interesting spirit as it’s made with flowers. We can share the experience of trying some.
