Hello !

My name is Julie, and I decided to take a gap year, to take time, to learn differently, to discover, to travel differently, to think, to live to the rhythm of the day, that is to say : to liiive !!

I started this year with a small biketrip, between France and Switerland, did a lot of different things during the cold months and decided to restart a bike project in Europe, but this time with an (incredible) friend I met this year ! And here we are on the road ! We started this adventure from France mid-March, went in Karlsruhe and in Wien, and we will continue to Croatia, and even more according to our feelings and our encounters :))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered this way of travel thought a friend, and I fell in love with the concept.
I like this idea of sharing: sharing a place, sharing some moments, some experiences. It can allow me to see a place from a different point of view, the one of the sharing.
And don't lie to ourselves, as I am a student, I don't have a lot of money, so it's actually a good way to be able to still discover some of the beautiful places of the world.
