Overview
About Me
I am a university student at the University of Ottawa currently on exchange for a semester at the University of Bergen, in Norway.
I am a people-person, I love languages, music, hanging out with friends, photography, and learning about and doing improvisational theatre.
I love to travel as I have done some solo traveling and group traveling in Africa, Asia, North America, and Europe.
Some random facts:
-I love hiking but I am scared of heights, and I love traveling but I am scared of flying
-I like snacking (no judgement hahaha)
-The coolest nature pee I have done was in Kenya on a safari near a heard of zebras
-My pet peeve is when people bite their sweater! It's like that "nails on a chalkboard" feeling
-I own a melodica
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I currently am in Bergen and I have an extra bed in my residence so I think it is a good opportunity to host people. As well, I am traveling as I have free time during exchange and am I seizing the opportunity that I am in Europe, closer to traveling to many countries. I would love to meet other international people and students through couch surfing! My first experience being a guest as a couch surfer was incredible and positive. It allowed me to meet people with similar interests, with international backgrounds, and get local advice in order to best explore the given city. I am a believer that people are wonderful and beautiful and it's such a great feeling to share experiences! Looking forward to traveling, learning perspectives, languages, and more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have gone winter camping twice (2013, 2015) for a week at a time in -30 degrees celcius.
Teach, Learn, Share
Language, piano, improv, cooking and baking. Let's talk about things we love and want to work on!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share an open mind and good manners while being hosted. As well, I can offer to cook a meal and I am open to any sleeping arrangement, as long as it is not directly shared with the host. I believe it is important to be clear and understanding before and during the couch surfing experience. I am here to meet friendly people and I believe in the freedom and safety especially as a woman couch surfing. If I respect the host I wish to be respected, too!
