Overview
About Me
Im french and grew up in Switzerland. Currently living in the US (where I might stay for a few years or go back to europe).
I love to travel (and try to keep the bill as well as the carbon footprint on the lowside.....) and I’ve been to a bunch of countries including Canada, the Czech Republic, Brazil, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Greece, Spain, Norway and Denmark!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have this dream in which I live in the US in the fifties and hop freights and write poems and songs and rhapsodies. And travel young & free across the world. Buuut im here in 2019 and hope all that life hasnt just melted away and survives unwilted and different. Maybe Couchsurfing‘s the modern day equivalent of this Beat ideal.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m really into jazz as well as classical music and indie stuff. Currently exploring the philly underground music scene :)
Kind of a book nerd (poetry, fiction, philosophy, non-fiction you name it). Among my favorites are Kundera, R. M. Rilke, Whitman, Kerouac or Patti Smith.
Miyazaki is everything to me, but I love the soundtracks to movies such as Me and You and Everyone We Know or The Life Aquatic.
Ps. As a fellow traveler, you should check out Kerouac’s lesser-known novel Dharma Bums which includes the greatest & sweetest description of the rushing feeling one gets when one sets out with a sturdy, newly- furnished rucksack.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak french, german and english and would love to teach/learn languages to/from a surfer!!
