About Me

I'm a student at Concordia University in Montreal (Canada). I study to become a Costume Designer for theatre or circus and I've studied a lot in Art before.
I love to travel; thanks to my parents that made me travel since childhood. I'm especially passionate by beautiful landscape and beautiful nature. I like vestiges form the past like ruins and abandoned temples. I always bring watercolor painting when I travel so I can keep memories of my impressions and feelings. I love hiking and trekking and I'm always thrilled to meet new people and discover the culture of other countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm doing an exchange in Australia for one semester and I intend to travel in Asia and Oceania after as I will never be closer (because I live at the other side of the world in Canada ...)!!
I want to meet people from the places I go to be emerge in the culture. I think the best way to see a new country is through the locals. I can wait to meet the people that will be so proud to show me their beloved city and have a good laugh around a fire camp talking and sharing the differences of our respective countries. By meeting citizens, I hope to get away from the touristic paths to have the chance to see the real style life of the place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At 18 years old, I left to travel 6 mouths in South America.
I was trying to find a funny story to tell and I realized that all the story I have are the results of something I've messed up... Like the time I lost my passport in Peru. I ended up an extra two weeks in Lima working in a Youth Hostel. It was actually very nice to meet so much people from everywhere. I was thinking also about the time when I went for a 5h hike around a volcanic crater in Ecuador. I was with a friend and we didn’t planned our time so when the night fell, we weren’t done and we had no flashlight… so the end of the hike was a little tense, but the night sky was beautiful!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to hear about you, the way you live, the places to see, the story of your city and your contry!

What I Can Share with Hosts

In exchange for showing me around and telling me the good tips to know about the place, I would be glad to teach you a little bit of French, tell you about Art History and even give you some basic drawing classes. I can also teach you to dance Forro (it is a Brasilein dance that look a little bit like salsa) or even some Karate! I can tell you about my home town, Montreal, and if you want to travel too, I can tell you about the places I went to and give you some tips too!
I will thank you by doing a drawing or a painting of anything you’d like; landscape, your city, your pet, etc. It is my passion to capture a moment with my pencils and brushes and to share it with others!
