Hi! My name is Julie and I absolutely love being immersed in culture and meeting new people. I especially like music and dancing--that brings out the best in me.
I have dreams of impacting people's lives in the future through service in other countries, and I am intrigued by learning from others as well.

I am in college outside of Milwaukee right now, but possibly in the summer I can host people! :)

CURRENT MISSION
I am trying to experience as much as I can and learn to understand others more and more through their experiences, perspectives, and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn from the experts in their country! Seeing what a real day in another's culture is like is the best way to understand others. I love conversations and making new connections with people, so couch surfing is the perfect opportunity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just recently backpacked with a group of college students along the upper Michigan peninsula where we braved huge amounts of flies, filtered our own water from the lake, hiked daily with 30 pounds....but it was oh so worth it. Beautiful and amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer kindness, thankfulness, conversation, friendship, interest in their culture and country, and a joyful couchsurfer who will forever remember their welcome into their home!
I also would love to have people visit me in Milwaukee as well when I live there during the summer months! It would be great to show you around.
