Overview
About Me
Let me introduce myself. I am a friendly, smiling and positive person. I love hiking and cycling in the nature. I am passionate about art, cooking, music, the opera, theatre. I love meeting new people. I also like discovering and testing new things. I love the French gastronomy and I enjoy testing French first, second and three stars restaurants across France.
I graduated from a perfumery school where I learned marketing, management and how to smell a perfume. I worked in this industry but I recently quit my job to get new experiences. I was in Grasse (South of France) in May to pick the rose flower in Chanel’s fields. The rose centifolia is used in the famous Chanel 5. I traveled across Canada by hitchhiking this summer. I now live in Nice with my boyfriend !
So far all my adventures surfing have been with my best friend Camille, we made a joint profile so if you want to see references go here: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/camille-bertrand-1
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I do believe you visit a country as soon as you meet with the locals, spend some good time with them hanging out. I would rather getting recommandations about what people love in their town (places, restaurants, trails, ...) than a travel guide. Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to do that :)

Living in London for 1 year and a half! Great city, amazing time!
Hitchhiking in France and across Canada (from Percé to Vancouver). Lots of stories to share :)
Hiking the Piton de la Fournaise volcano in the Réunion Island. Felt like I was in the Lord of Ring movie.
Having dinner twice at Mirazur in Menton, the 2019 best restaurant in the world, W-O-W!
Picking rose in Chanel’s fields in Grasse (South of France)
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be glad to share a glass of wine and cook a French typical dish.
