About Me
About half of my time is spent being a self-proclaimed financial wiz and your typical corporate yuppie - complete with a downtown Calgary apartment and more blazers than there are days in a week. I therefore feel very inclined to use the other half to balance this out entirely by conquering mountains, trekking jungles, and jumping out of airplanes. It is not uncommon for me to get on a plane and run off to far away destinations with less than one week's notice, and anything interesting or adrenaline inducing is right up my alley.
Let's just say that while my mother is very proud of who I am as a person, she also hasn't slept since 1991 because of all of my travel and adventure antics.
Been to 21 countries so far, with the goal of 30 before 30 - but don't worry, my life is not just a string of catchy-sounding goals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
What better way to get to know a new place than by spending time with locals, and seeing things that would not be found in a LonelyPlanet travel guide.

What I Can Share with Hosts
A combination of life wisdom (but no more than 25 years worth of it), a sense of adventure, and my hilarious dad-jokes.
You should know that I didn’t actually practice before flying a plane for the first time. Thought I’d just wing it.
I can also promise that while I'm fun to have around, owning my own apartment back home means that I'm very respectful of somebody else's space. I'm also more than happy to strike out on my own, and will not be demanding of your time on top of your hospitality, if you're unable to give it!
