Overview
About Me
I’ve been living in the DC area for over 2 years and am always looking for hidden gems around the area - I don’t consider myself a local yet, but know some cool spots around the city. Going through some life changes I’m open to some adventures :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm really interested in learning new cultures and experiencing how locals live instead of just doing surface-level tourist activities. If you have a favorite neighborhood or know some off-the-beaten-path places, I'd love to know about them!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music- Nora Jones, Florence and the Machine, (old) Coldplay, Keane, Lucius, Regina Spektor, Amy Winehouse
Movies- I'm actually more of a TV person but I really like the Breakfast Club (cliche, I know), Moulin Rouge, and Disney/Disney Pixar movies!
Books- I haven't had much time to read over the past few years but love books in general. I'm a big fan of historical fiction like Memoirs of a Geisha, but childhood favorites like Harry Potter are also near and dear to me. I just finished reading Girl with the Dragon Tattoo which I also really liked.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like thinking about big social and intellectual issues so I'm always down to have interesting discussions about anything (yes, even politics!). I also like to cook and I'd love to make you some of my favorite dishes.
