About Me

Hello Hello !

I'm Julie ! You, on my page, nice to meet you ! I'm a French girl from the most beautiful region : Normandie ! (other regions are beautiful too ahah)

I'm quite new in couch surfing. I was afraid before, because I'm by myself, but, well, we only have one life ! And I want to discover new cultures, new point of view. Because, I've been travelling and couldn't exchange as much as I wanted (too baaad). And now, that's what I'm looking for.

In several weeks, I will be travelling to Scotland and Wales for the first time. I'm so eager to visit these countries !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, couch surfing is not just a place to sleep, but a meeting, an exchange with someone who knows the city, the right places to visit. It's also someone who I could have a drink with and talk about their experience in travelling, about life, about everything ! I really like to talk yes ^^

Do not hesitate to tell me if you desperately want something from France before I come to your place ! I'd be very pleased to make you discover some parts of my culture !

Simple plan - Welcome to my life
Sum 41 - War
Thérapie TAXI - Blesse moi
Banners - someone to you
BI- Free fall
All time Low - Dear Maria count me in
And a loooooot more !

I'm a Tolkien fan and also read romantasy.

I watch a lot of zombie movies, K dramas and C dramas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Before my 24th birthday, I had never leave my country. And in 2023, I decided to live in South Korea (with a friend) during a year. And this changed me a lot. There, I did paragliding for example. That is something I would have never done in France !
Since then, I want to visit so many other countries. I feel myself when travelling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you french words if you want, some dances and songs, like traditionnal dances and songs !

As I'm a tour guide, we can talk about history, culture. I moslty know things about Normandie, as I grew up and studied there. Did you know that William almost never became the Conqueror ?

Also, as I lived in South Korea, if you'd like to hear about my experience there by curiosity or because you want to visit the country, I'd be very pleased to tell you everything you want to know !

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, it's more or less the same thing as I said before.
Also, I never come empty handed, because that's how I am. So if you have allergies, tell me ! ahah
