Overview
About Me
" Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair".
-Khalil Gibran
No, I cannot take credit for that quote! However, I feel like it perfectly sums up how I long to live my life and what I view as important. I love travelling, seeing new things (especially oceans!), meeting new people and learning!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love seeing new places and experiencing new things, and staying with people who know the area seems like the best way to do it! I think a trip is so much more interesting when you can share it with people along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books! I have lots of favourites, everything from Gone with the Wind, to Harry Potter to The girl who played with fire. I could read books by Heather O'Neil all day.
I enjoy many different kinds of music. My favourite is folk, some of my top favs are The Head and The Heart, The Stray Birds, and Crooked Still. I've been known to rock out to Some J Biebs every now and then!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sky dived in South Africa! When do you get the chance to fall from the sky and know that you'll (probably) live to tell the tale?!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make a wicked batch of granola, fill you in on the art of playing crib, and share my two cents on knitting and crocheting.
I always love sharing my stories and experiences, along with (of course) some good book reviews. Want to know about Mennonites?! I got the answers :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm super friendly, easy going, and a great guest. I will bring an adventurous attitude and an open mind to whatever you want to share with me!
