I am a 29 year old professional musician and teacher. (Violin/voice/piano/guitar) I work mainly in the afternoon/evenings, including weekend nights and early Sunday mornings. I have plenty of places to practice at my various job locations, so there’s no need to worry if you prefer a quiet guest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently in between leases as I wait for my the renovations on my new apartment to be complete. Unfortunately, the date that the landlord has promised me the place would ready has now surpassed. I was able to afford a temporary place to stay through airBNB, until a car accident on I-95 (for which I was not at fault) resulted in my car being totaled, and unfortunately has left me without a reliable means of transportation. With all of these tings happening at the I same time, my finances are struggling. I’m paying for temporary housing IN ADDITION to all the necessary LYFT/uber rides I must take in order to get to work each day. I am currently unable to save any money towards a new car because I have already been forced to dip into the money I had saved for when I move into a new apartment.

I have been extremely fortunate so far - it wasn’t until tonight that I now myself without a place to stay for the first time. That’s why I am on now on Couchsurfing. As it is currently 12:45am on a Sunday night/Monday morning - I won’t be adding references until tomorrow.
