About Me

I have been using couch surfing for years now and really love my experiences . Meeting new people and meeting their friends, having friends in every place I've been to is amazing! It's given me so much . I Iove having new experiences through travelling . My favourite moments haven't been what you could probably label massively exciting or anything . I find much more joy in the little moments I've had , like being invited into someone's shop, drinking tea and listening to what people have to say or being fed raw live crabs (well attempted anyway 🤢) .

I absolutely love cooking , have been living near Bacalar mexico the last year cooking , and the year before working on a charter boat in panama . I travel with spices etc most of the time and am never bored to cook or learn new things about local foods so it would be great to share that with people !

I am now about to continue with my 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️ adventure south after getting (happily) stuck in mexico again for a while ! Not sure of the route yet , i never am , just excited to get back moving .

Nov-2023 now I am only a few months away from starting my cycling adventure in India !! So excited!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like to know a place and get an idea what it feels like to live there and meet all different kinds of people and hear thier experiences !

Interests

🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️

My interests when travelling usually start with just exploring . When I arrive in a new place I try to spend time just walking around and seeing what's going on rather than having a destination planned , even though I walk like I do to give off the impression I'm not a lost haha !

Next is food! I love to discover new places (for me) and the culture around that food . It gets me talking (or trying to) with people all the time and it's such an important part of life. I like to learn new ways and ingredients , go to markets and cook for people . So I suppose it's really the people rather than the food !
