About Me

Exploring Amsterdam around NYE, wanna meet up and grap a beer?

About me: I am studying biotechnology, math, and physic as my main courses at Stenhus Gymnasium. Hopefully, I'll end up working with environmental issues. My biggest joy is, however, to meet new people and see new places, to discover the differences and the wonders of the world. I love nature just as much as I love culture... Oh well, and food.

Let me tell you a bit about where I grew up; Denmark.
I live in a very small country, with a welfare system that provides us free education and free healthcare. On the contrary, we pay approximately 50% of our income in taxes. We have several times been nominated so the happiest country in the world, though, we are also some of the biggest users of antidepressants. The best thing is, however the fact that we feel safe, cycling, running, or walking at all places at any time of the day and to you reading this: that almost everyone can speak English fluently.

So back to me: I try my best to be up to date on the news concerning Denmark as well as internationally. Knowledge is the key to understanding and I find no better way to gain that than through travels. I love traveling, as it makes me feel alive. Experiencing the events, areas, and countries give me a more beautiful and diverse perspective on the world - than just watching everything through a digital screen. I have seen the most of Denmark and Europe, but we only make out for such a small piece - And I am more curious than ever on what's left for me to discover on the other continents.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hoping to create a social network across borders. I believe the best way to explore a country is by exploring the culture.
So far I have been on two exchange experiences (10 days to China and another 10 days to South Africa) and they have been the most amazing and memorable trips in my life.
Couchsurfing will hopefully find me the perfect match for my next adventure.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love, live and laugh

Also, I can teach you tongue twisters in Danish and how to play beer bowling. (yes, that is my valuable talents)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an excellent cook and entertaining company. Would love to chat over a good meal and some cheap wine.

Very fond of long walks in the evening with a warm cup of to-go-coffee, or if the evening brings out a forgotten party, I'm always up for an exciting night out.
