About Me
Hello there !!
I am Julie, a 32yo female artist. I am half French half Spanish. I am very easy going and I have done flat-sharing for over 10 years. Easy going and friendly I am very clean, tidy and respectful. I used to live with Italian and Brazilian people and love their languages, also quite understand it but only speak few sentences so far. Off course I'm not regarding your origins as I am very open mind willing to learn more about any culture (they're all so interesting to me).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I came back to London (where I used to live from 2008 to 2011) 2 months ago and have a place to stay until 15th december 2015 but am looking for a place to stay from mid-december up to mid-January (1month minimum), or even later depending on your availabilities.
I kinda found a temporary unsecured job in market research fields but still looking for the good arty one. I cannot host for now but if my future experience on couchsurfing goes well I will consider hosting people when I'll be able to. Also I feel sad thinking I will spend Xmas time on my own and it would be a plus if anyone is OK to have me over for this time of the year.
Interests
I am into music, video, photo, writing, I sing and play guitar also other instruments. I love traveling, meeting new people, food/cooking, concerts, going out as well as chilling out at home or going for a walk in a park. I love animals and gardening too. I should add that I am vegetarian but won't bother you with that we're all free to feed ourselves the way we want. I have been volunteering for French charity "Action Against Hunger" for 4 years and I am very sensitive to humanitarian and ecological causes. I also do some yoga, meditation and good massages.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am found about music. Listening or playing folk, blues, jazz, rock, metal, electro or world music. I like documentaries about society, travels, nature, animals, politics, history. I love series like the Tudors, Skins, Spaced, Walking dead, Breaking bad...or movies like Fight club, Gattaca, Existenz, What the bleep do we know, Michael moore's ones, and many others with preference for movies that make you think about our society and human condition. I also like funny and light movies that help to cheer up. I read some books about the Dalai Lama or other books about spirituality but I am more into writing than reading actually...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Nepal to visit one of Action Against Hunger's mission on April 2013. I've met there very needing and poor people in the country side, where no tourist go, where they're left over. It changed my life and my way of seeing life forever. That was such an experience to me...there is no word to describe what it felt like.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach French, some Spanish, guitar, singing, some cooking/bakery tips. I can also teach about photo, video, music software (photoshop, premiere, after effect, garageband). I am keen on learning anything you could teach me if you want to, but the best would be to teach me some more English or Italian or Portuguese ( I would also do with Japanese or Hindi, I love these 2 cultures too and watched loads of documentaries about India and Japan !!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, I can sing a song for you, we can go for a walk or for a concert or just for a drink or just chill out together listening music or watching a movie. I am not fussy and I just love sharing with peeps. If you have pets and a garden I can help you look after it too.
