About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To authentically experience the world and the people in it.

ABOUT ME

I am a travelling teacher, who is now based out of the Middle East (UAE). I love traveling, and am always looking to meet new people on my adventures. I am pretty easy-going, drink moderately, love going out and dancing, but am not into the drugs or smoking scene. (traveling is my drug!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to this! Hope it will be a good experience. I also love meeting new people (travellers) and hearing about what others are doing. I'm always planning my next adventure and looking for what others have experienced. One of my favourite things is to share travel experiences with others. In another life, I would have been a tour guide.

Interests

Traveling! I also swim (used to do triathlons). I enjoy hiking, reading, listening to music and going to concerts, belly dancing and zumba. I am starting to take an interest in photography, and have just started to play with the manual settings on my camera.

I also love good food and drink. I am always looking for new foods to try, and new restaurants to eat at.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list!

Music: currently I love dance type tunes with a great beat, like reggaeton, soca and champeta. I am also really loving Major Lazer.

Books: I still love the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. My favourite genre is Crime/Police novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done a lot of amazing things, but I think volunteering in Kenya on an animal sanctuary, and volunteering for the Canadian consulate (Vimy Ridge 90th commemoration) are 2 standouts.

I also just tried surfing, and am now a certified open water diver!!
