Overview
About Me
I was born in Sardinia, Italy, so at my core I'm an island girl, I absolutely love the sea.
I'm into all sports, but my favorite thing is hiking! Mountains, beach, countryside, you name it. If dogs are coming along, that's even better.
I lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for three years and moved to Rome in 2017 to start International Med School. I like to explore new cultures and visit secret places in foreign towns. Touristy is not my thing, I want to see how the locals live!
Not particular about being comfortable. Part of lone traveling is roughing it, and I'm all about the experience.
Pretty much constantly happy, really into car trips, coffee and night walks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I learned about Couchsurfing from my cousin. He travelled to so many places and met loads of great people, and I wanted to do the same. I also took part in a student exchange program while I was in high school and I learned how gratifying it is to be a host and show people the beauty of your country, and how exciting it is to be living with people that can teach you to be part of a foreign culture.
Not to mention I'm a university student and by definition always broke.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm into rock, all kinds - my favorite artists are the Cure, Led Zeppelin and Alt-j. Also Bob Dylan and Arctic Monkeys.. don't get me started. I'm one of those people that like to rant about the stuff they love.
Indie, hip-hop and jazz are also good.
About movies, I like oldies and whatever's on Netflix. Thrillers are always a good choice.
If there's an English bookstore in your country, I'll find it. I never leave home without a book!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm crazy about nature and sports. I kayaked near glaciers, went bear hunting, hiked mountains, and took cross-country snow machine trips.
