About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To love every day of my life and to approach every day with a smile and a positive attitude

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a very small town in Nebraska and am now living in a city with around 10 times as many people as my entire state. I have learned a lot about myself and lot about what I want out of life through the experience... anyway about me... I love to sing (as I mentioned before), love to read (right now Stephan King) and have recently become addicted to Lost. It is an amazing show that every person should watch (thanks Kate for the addiction).

Hmmm... I love to smile a lot... I smile pretty much all of the time because I am happy pretty much all of the time. I like to live with the philosophy that "You are as happy as you make up your mind to me" (which I have been told my whole life, so that is probably why it is my philosophy).

I love meeting new people and right now I LOVE ARGENTINA!

PHILOSOPHY

You are as happy as you make up your mind to be.

If you want something, figure out how to get it and don't settle for less than what you want.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couch surfed twice, so I don't have a lot of experiences. Both were fantastic and make me want to couch surf every time that I travel. First, I stayed with a couch surfer in Rosario and was taken to the best ice cream place and the second was with a couch surfer in Cordoba. He took me and my friend Kate up into the mountains with his friends and cooked us the most amazing asado. We then climbed down to the river (well kind of walked down hill) and drank Mate.

Since I wrote the above description, I have surfed more, but those initial 2 experiences have given me the desire to couch surf MORE!!! I have really come to love the "couch surfing mentality" as I have travelled. The laid back down to earth attitude that I have found in everyone that I have met through couch surfing has been so easy for me to relate to. Seriously, couch surfing is the most amazing thing ever invented.
