About Me

CURRENT MISSION

discover the world and eat a lot of delicious food!

ABOUT ME

PHILOSOPHY

If life seems jolly rotten, there's something you've forgotten and that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people, learning about their culture and listening to their many experiences so I try to host, surf and meet whenever I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing is a brilliant idea! you get to meet people when you go abroad who can introduce you to their local culture. I've had plenty of great moments thanks to CS and I'm certain there'll be many more.

Music, Movies, and Books

some of many great artists: The Beatles, Beirut, Fleet Foxes, The Black Keys, The Zombies, Nina Simone, Bob Dylan, Kings of Leon, Chet Baker, The Kinks, The Shins, The Doors, Elvis Presley, Interpol, John Butler Trio, Manu Chao, Neutral Milk Hotel, Otis Redding, Radiohead, The Velvet Underground, The Strokes, etc. I adore gypsy, reggae, swing and Irish folk, brilliant music to dance to with either your friends or a bunch of strangers! I also used to play piano in a Jazz combo but I haven't practiced in a long time and for now I'm focusing on the ukulele.

there are many many books I like, great ones are The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and Animal Farm by George Orwell. I've just discovered Ernest Hemingway, Jack Kerouac, Ezra Pound, Gertrude Stein and other American authors, I can only recommend them!

favourite film: Life of Brian
