I am a soon to be 21 year old girl from a tiny island in the north of Norway. I've been traveling and living in 4 continents during the last two years, while also studying international development. I've lived in Hoi An in Vietnam, New York twice, León in Nicaragua and Oslo in Norway and traveled as much as I could in the meantime, and I must say I've really gotten bit by the travel bug. I enjoy experiencing new cultures, new activities and every place that is surrounded by ocean. I am super social and outgoing and do love a good party. But on the other hand very calm, and also very friendly so I usually get along with everybody.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been pretty much been traveling for 2 years and living in 4 different continents during this time, but never tried couch surfing. I am now living in León, Nicaragua and will be traveling in april before I get back to New York. I then thought that Couchsurfing would be a great (and inexpensive) alternative for accommodation, where you simultaneously get to know locals and expats, and maybe get some insider information :)

Interests

Traveling and experiencing new cultures. I used to play soccer for 12 years, and do enjoy playing occasionally. Meeting new people. I love to dance and I'm trying to also learn more latin dances. Music, mostly EDM, but so many other genres, including 90s alternative rock, indie and pop. Trying (and often fail) new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

A loooot of dj's, but except for EDM there is: Foo fighters, The Weeknd, Nirvana, Florence and the machine, Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey, The Cure, Mighty Oaks and Queen, are some of my all time favourites!

I don't watch that many movies or read that much literature but I do love tv shows and Netflix. Some favourites are Friends, New Girl, Narcos, How to get away with murder and so many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess I can be a bit careless sometimes, so my biggest accomplishment must be not dying yet.
