The idea was to save on travel costs, while taking the train around, and spending on gifts to my relatives; but I'm reminded here how interesting it would be to meet people from a variety of international backgrounds. I have a home I can host people in. Culutre is the spice of life. Oh I better not say "Spicer" these days (ha ha)
