About Me
Currently I cannot offer a place to stay since I live in a flatshare where we don't even have a couch (let alone a spare room), unfortunately. However, should you want to have a coffee and/or get some ideas where to go and what to see in Munich, I can help out :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was couchsurfing in France and Belgium so far and met some very nice people. Cooking, eating and getting to know each other was brilliant, and sometimes my hosts even invited me to go out together. This way I imagine I had the chance to experience my holiday destinations from a more intimate perspective than I would have done otherwise. This is what I love the most about the whole couchsurfing thing, I guess: giving travelers the opportunity to experience a city from a local's point of view and getting in contact with people from all sorts of backgrounds and cultures.
Interests
I love music, I play the guitar, I read a lot. Obviously travelling is very high up on my list of favourite things. Also, I love food and I quite enjoy cooking with friends and family, so I'm always keen on getting to know new (vegetarian) recipes. I've been to Asia currently for the first time, to Vietnam, more precisely, and now I am quite addicted to summer rolls, coriander and rice noodle salad :P

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of different stuff when it comes to music - reggae, folk, old-school hip hop, singer-songwriter music ...
Movies : "Amélie", "Big Fish", "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind", "Stay" ... they all share an interesting approach to reality and its perception. Also they show great ways of story-telling!
Books... since I studied literature there are far too many different ones I like. I love Fantastic Realism, "The God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy, for example but I also enjoy "real" fantasy like Tolkien. Also, "Krabat" by Otfried Preußler is one of my favourite books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hm. I guess the most "amazing things" I've done in my life are often connected to travel experiences :) ! And I wouldn't want to choose one of them here since there are so many. But let's say travelling in Vietnam all on my own was one quite amazing thing.
