Couchsurfing utilizes generosity, community involvement, and available space as a means of connecting folks across the world. And skirting capitalism to boot. It's a lovely way to shrink the globe and build mutual understanding.

Music, Movies, and Books

yes! I enjoy many genres of each of these, however seriously dislike horror films and books. I like being blown away by an author, director, or musician I'd never heard of or catching up on the classics. Currently reading The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tiger Leaping Gorge! This multi-day hike along the Jinsha River in Yunnan province, SW China, is stunning, challenging, and so worth the effort.
