About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty even-tempered and easy to get along with. I enjoy meeting and chatting with new people and trying new things. I'm also a creature of comfort, and enjoy being lazy once in awhile. I think it's important to challenge yourself, learn new things, take on new, healthy habits, or kick old, unhealthy ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm completely new to couchsurfing, and am excited to join the CS community! I'm hoping to do a bit of surfing in my upcoming travels.

Interests

I'm the outdoorsy type. I like hiking, backpacking, taking my dog swimming, etc. I recently got into running, and am marathon training right now. In training for this I've learned so much about myself, and the positive effect running has had extends well beyond my physical well-being. It keeps me sane and has been a source of endless wisdom.

I wouldn't call myself a foodie, but I definitely like good food and beer. I enjoy hanging out at local breweries and watering holes and trying
new restaurants.

I work as both a Med Rec and a Pharmacy Tech. I'm also working on finishing my undergrad and am on a very slow-paced pursuit to PA school.

I'm dabbling in the travel scene more and more these days. I still have a reasonable amount of control over my circumstances, so I feel I should do what really matters as life won't always be just about me. My worldview is still being formed and it's important to steward this time. A good way to do that is to "travel wide and far, boldly and with full abandon." -unknown

I want to hear about you and your travels. And while I may not be the best at making conversation, I'm a spectacular listener.
