Über mich
ABOUT ME
I love a good adventure. Hiking and exploring are some of my favorite things. Enjoying fine food, fine wine, and fine company are also some of my favorite things. I'm down for just about anything really as long as it's interesting. Also I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie so if there's something tall I can jump off of or the likes, just point me at it and off I'll go! I'm pretty easygoing for the most part, and willing to be as flexible as you need me to be.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't wait until you're older/wiser/richer. The fun happens now.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
Terry Pratchett was my favorite author of all time. I also like a bunch of "classic" novels. I love Sherlock, Penny Dreadful, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Ripper Street, Downton Abbey. Guilty pleasure TV shows include Arrow, The Flash, and Suits. I love disney and pixar movies, and I can get down on some badass action/adventure films. Only kind of movies I don't like are horror movies. As for music, I can enjoy pretty much anything, although at the moment I'm digging some electronic artist; bonobo, adventure club, purity ring, broods, POLIÇA, vindata, young wonder, I monster, alt-J, and so, so much more.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I've hiked tall things, jumped off tall things, skied down tall things, jumped out of things flying very high up, did some super cool music stuff that one time a few years ago, somehow managed to avoid going to my university graduation ceremony. None of those are exactly amazing, but I think they're pretty cool
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I'm a ski instructor. So I could teach you that. I got a stupid expensive degree in music that is actually kind of worthless, but at least I can make you look good if you want to do karaoke sometime and I rock at music trivia. I know a lot of random science-y facts that can be mildly interesting. I really like traveling and learning about different cultures. I know a decent amount about the US. Know some stuff about mountains in the US and a bit of US history if I think real hard, no dates though, I'm horrible at remembering dates. If you're planning a trip there though I can definitely give you some ideas on where to go (hint: Colorado is the best)
I would love to learn anything and everything you're willing to throw at me; culture, history, local politics, new ways to have fun, language. I really suck at learning languages but I will always give it my best effort. I feel it's a bit rude to travel the world and expect everyone to speak my language and not even bother to try and learn some of yours. So try I will and fail I might...
You are welcome to join me on any adventure I might embark on, and any guidance or advice on what to do and where to go will be very much appreciated.
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
Fun, company, a relatively interesting plus one for those family/social events you hate/love going to, someone to make fun of because they aren't even remotely bilingual. Also if I have the money I'll buy you a pint for letting me stay with you :)
