About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finished college and surfing as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

I am Julie. Jules. Jul. I'm a surfer, musician, traveler.
I like hanging out at a bar, have some drinks, enjoy life. I love chocolate as I also love cooking and baking stuff once in a while :)

I've been playing the guitar since I was 13 and have been singing and writing songs ever since. When I'm on the road, music is probably the best thing to keep me going. :)

I like photography, but not that I'm a professional. I just like experimenting with it.

I'm open minded, sometimes quiet and sometimes hyper active and funny... depends.

PHILOSOPHY

what comes around, goes around.

Sometimes life isn't easy, but you just gotta hang on to what you believe in and don't let anyone bring you down.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently don't have a couch but it would be a pleasure to show you around in the city of Bruges. If you ever travel through Belgium and you end up in Ghent, then don't doubt to contact me too. When you're in Antwerp, you càn contact me to hang out but I'm not really familiar with the city so we would get lost together :p
I can also show you our historic culture and our HUGE food culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had so many amazing experiences. I met people that inspired me so so so much. it's crazy how it opens your mind and how you see the world. Even if those people have total other believes than you, it's still awesome to realize that everyone is unique and can have an own opinion. I learned how to appreciate that through Couchsurfing.
I fell in love with places, houses I surfed, music CS'ers introduced me to, food they made me taste, languages I learned, and the list goes on.

Interests

music, surfing, snowboarding, longboarding, chilling and enjoying life, good food, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked all the way to the griffith observatory. I have a fear of heights and it was by night that me and friends decided to check out the view!
So we climbed up and suddenly the road just stopped so we decided to walk up through the woods and well.. I didn't really fancy that but I was proud when I reached the top! :) Best view, probably, ever.
