ABOUT ME

Open minded and open hearted, still learning a lot about myself. I'm relaxed and I easy going, almost always up for trying new things and learning along the way. I love to have me a good time, whether it be dancing the night away, going for a nice walk, talking all night over dinner, playing some old school games, screaming along to fantastic music, it's all good!

I am trying to get to grips with living in the moment, not dwelling too much on what's passed or what's to come. Enjoying the present and being conscious within in.

I am a passionate person and I like to be engaged and stimulated. There is much still to learn and I look forward to developing in many ways as I move forward through life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just in the early stages of participation :) From my experience so far this is the best way to travel! So far sooo good! Unfortunately I have not been settled enough yet to offer my place as a host. That day will come!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience started when I read a book about this community. I was attracted to this book because it asked the same question I was asking... Isn't this a mad idea?? Its great, but could it really work?? So I read a book about it called "Sleeping Around" and it sounded like just my idea of fun! Meeting locals and getting a true feel for the place I was visiting, and gaining a whole range of experiences through meeting so many different folks.

All through my trip in Mexico for 2 months I couch surfed for the first time and stayed with hosts about half my trip. I received so much generosity and really enjoyed meeting locals in the places I visited. The experiences I had with these hosts are ones I treasure.

Centres d'intérêt

Many interests! Mostly involving exploring, walking, being active in mind, body and spirit, meeting new people, dancing!! tango, salsa, free dance, eating, cooking, baking, day tripping, sun seeking, Spanish speaking, cultural diversity, la la la! I am also interested in living sustainably! I would like to dedicate my working life to the organic food industry specifically directed towards hands-on education with children and in schools.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Very generally: I really like documentaries (although one must be critical of these!), I enjoy foreign films, and tasteful films. I love most music, with the exception of a few extreme styles. Books, lately I have been reading Spanish children's books, but soon I hope to progress to meatier novels! I have also been learning more and more about classic literature, Oscar Wilde's stories being some of my favourites.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Watching the night sky in Fiji I've never seen so many stars. Swimming in the nude in the Greek Isles :) listening to fado music sung so passionately in the old part of Lisbon. Many more memorable moments that make life beautiful.
