About Me
Hey !
I am Julie, a 20 year old history student from Toulouse, France. I am currently unable to host anyone as I do not have my own place at the moment since I will be travelling around Georgia for a couple of month. However, I would absolutely love to show you around the city, and to give you advices on the best falafel's places to go to when I'm there ! I really love Toulouse and I think it is a wonderful place to visit if you're looking for good food, good wines, good weather, typical little streets and beautiful landscapes - and I would love to share that with you !
I am an easy-going person, usually in a good mood (even in the morning!), and curious. I love meeting new people, cooking vegetarian food, reading, writing, watching movies, eating, walking, travelling...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used Couchsurfing last summer in Canada and the USA and absolutely loved the experience.
I really want to meet new people, locals that can show me around and tell me where the best places to go to are, and people travelling to Toulouse to whom I can be a guide to !
Interests
I love cooking, and discovering new recipes (I even read cookbooks in my bed in the evening), I also love reading and writing. Since Toulouse is not far from the mountains, and from the countryside as well, I also enjoy walking among beautiful landscapes, or in the city.
I like doing things in my free time, as a volunteer for instance, but I am also capable of staying in bed for three days in a row, watching movies and drinking tea !
I am very interested in environmental topics, but also in gender studies, in American history, in literature... So, whether we agree or disagree on these subjects, I would love to discuss them with you :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking in Iceland with 4 amazing friends in a ridiculously small car, cooking rice in the toilets of the camp site because it was too windy outside.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I have said, I know a little about cooking (vegetarian one to be precise) and would looove to cook great meals for you! I am a specialist of houmos, butternut soup, and have a pHd in making-good-food-with-whatever-is-in-the-fridge.
And I would love to learn new, local recipes as well !!
I can also teach you how to say "For breakfast, I would like to eat churros and chocolate with organic orange juice" and "I would like to dance with a beautiful man" in spanish (it IS useful!). I love learning new languages and would therefore really like to learn basic words in whatever your language is !
Also, I know stuffs about history, anthropology, ecology... And would love to share them with you and discuss it !
