I'm an easy-going person who gets along with just about everyone. I'm usually very quiet, but I'm traveling to broaden my horizon, meet new people, and hopefully be a lot louder in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel for long stretches of time and the best part is always meeting new people, whether it's on the metro or at a Couchsurfing meeting.

Interests

I love to read, swim, and go hiking. I especially love swimming and anything dealing with the ocean.

I'd also really like to learn Spanish. I speak a little, but I'm pretty sure anyone who actually knew Spanish would laugh at me.

Movies: I'll watch anything, but I love the stupid chick flicks that people tease you about.

Music: Anything but heavy metal and hardcore rap. I like country quite a bit.

Books: The Glass Palace, The Poisonwood Bible, poetry by Emily Dickinson.

I teach English online, but it's mostly through conversation. If you want to learn English I'd be happy to talk with you and try to help you improve. If anyone knows Spanish I'd love to talk to someone in Spanish so I can improve, too.
