About Me

I'm a student that lives in Atlanta, GA. I am majoring in Radiology and plan to use my degree to work in a hospital to help people of all ages. I currently wait tables at Trappeze Pub-- a craft beer restaurant that serves about 35 taps. I love to read and write and have just started trying to draw portraits for fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel by myself and see the world, but being a student puts me on a tighter budget, and I don't want to let money stop me from expanding my world view and learning about places other than home.

Interests

I played ultimate frisbee for the University of Georgia while I attended and loved every second of being in the competitive world of frisbee-- it's a great sport that I highly recommend trying at least once. I'm fairly active, so any recommendations for some cool parks, hikes, trails, or things to do would be great!

I work in craft beer and love both drinking and learning about it. Wherever I travel to I will definitely want to try some local beers.

I love science and learning facts about all kinds of things, so I will most likely want to see some local museums as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book is Where the Red Fern Grows. I mostly like reading autobiographies and memoirs though. A true story told the right way can be many times more interesting because you know it's based off of real events!

Movie wise I love anything scifi. I also love documentaries (you're probably not surprised).

I listen to mostly anything in the music world. It's hard to be boxed in when there's so many different styles that bring out so many different things in a person!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I donated bone marrow to my sister when I was 9.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Czech Republic
