Overview
About Me
I grew up in small-town British Columbia. Since 2012, I've been lucky enough to travel, work, and experience different lifestyles in a wide variety of locations. I've only just started an ever-growing list of places I want to visit and things I'd like to do.
Since January 2017 I've been studying in northern Germany, and I'll be continuing my studies next year. I am enjoying my freedom from school at the moment :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been couchsurfing in Europe and through North America. When I lived at home I also hosted a few times, which I really enjoyed and will do again when possible. Couchsurfing is limitless in what it can teach you about human interaction, the goodness in people and about society and the world.
Interests
Interacting, learning, reading, languages, skiing, feminism and intersectionality, expanding my horizons, challenges, philosophy, vegetarian and vegan cooking (although I'm not a full-time vegetarian)

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't really watch movies or TV, but there's not enough time in a day to list my favorite books!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A million travel-related memories... some top contenders: I went to Abkhazia once and ate the best food of my life. I visited one of the top ten bars in the world on Utila, an island off the coast of Honduras. I've been to an incredible city named Ghardaia in the middle of the desert in Algeria and it was 50 degrees during the day. And so much more...
