Greetings!

My name is Julie, I am a PhD student and an avid cyclist, newly located in Paris for my studies. I've previously lived in Lyon, Montreal, and in the USA. I've been biking around cities (Lyon in particular) as a bike messenger, and also touring around France whenever I have some time off. One day I hope to cycle around Spain, Portugal and Northern Europe and also maybee in India and Australia. I love traveling long distances as minimally as possible.

Je suis cycliste passionnée. Je viens d'emménager à Paris pour y faire une thèse en géographie, mais j'ai aussi vécu plusieurs années à Lyon puis à Montréal et aux États-Unis. Je fais du vélo en ville pour me déplacer et aussi à travers les campagnes françaises dès que j'ai un peu de temps. J'espère un jour faire des séjours vélo à l'étranger aussi !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I mainly use couchsurfing on my bike trips. I am always happy to meet new people, exchange stories and experiences. But I prefer to say that I typically leave early in the mornings, gotta hit the road!

J'utilise CS surtout lors de mes voyages à vélo. Je suis toujours heureuse de rencontrer de nouvelles personnes, d'échanger et de découvrir. Je préfère prévenir que je me lève généralement de bonne heure afin d'avancer sur mes routes !
