About Me

I AM an optimistic, honest, introspective, introverted, inherently curious, open-minded, warm-hearted, respectful, compassionate, creative, kind, adventurous, freedom seeking cat-loving yogini. Tried and true earthscape lover and day-dreaming realist. I am positively fortunate and evermore grateful!

I like to travel with very little itinerary and to go with the flow. Hurrying is not my forte. I prefer less popular, off-the-path sights, even (especially) if it means I get to take it in alone. Crowds are generally not my scene, unless amazing food and/or live music is involved. Minimalist travel has high appeal and will be personally put to the test soon (currently a challenging thought to this last-minute serial over-packer)! I am somewhat detail oriented and always try to leave a space cleaner than I found it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Pause, connect, notice.

Practice that golden rule.

I'm here to meet, share and learn from others and to generally help extend my solo travels as long as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read books and listen to loads of music, but don't play favorites. I gravitate toward historical nonfiction, historical fiction, travel and eastern philosophical books. My music tastes are all over the place and include just about everything but opera and show-tunes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked at a very large urban humane society for a couple of years. Working directly in animal welfare was incredibly difficult, yet meaningful work. This experience contributed immensely to my understandings of life, death and the countless in betweens.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a wealth of info, experience and skills with others who share our animal kingdom.

I practice yoga and am more than happy to share some movement (and stillness) with ya! I can guide, follow and/or collaborate :)

I rather enjoy cooking (and eating) and am often up for a challenge in the kitchen.

What I Can Share with Hosts
