Overview
About Me
I rarely turn down an offer of food, and I like touching old buildings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the best way to acquaint oneself with a country is to know its people.
And I believe the best way to know people is in the day to day routine, or semblance of, their lives: what they eat and how they prepare it, how they spend daylight and what they do by the glow of street lamps, how they talk to friends and to strangers, and the way they treat animals.
I think Couchsurfing is a wonderful way to share that with each other so that we all might have our beliefs challenged and bring lessons home.

Music, Movies, and Books
John Mayer is like an older, male version of my soul. Maybe.
Some of my favorite movies are Forest Gump, V for Vendetta, Hot Fuzz, Up, A Bug's Life, Maleficent, and La Grande Bellezza.
I really enjoy reading Milan Kundera and David Sedaris.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once handbeat egg whites into stiff peaks.
Actually, scratch that, I think someone helped me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Skip the small talk.
