I am singer-songwriter (Julie Sunflower) and an independent videographer living in Roskilde near Copenhagen, Denmark. I care about the environment and I love to be creative and meet new people.

Some of my favorite things to do include:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling with my friend to Scotland between August 10-19th 2024. We will bring a guitar, sleeping bags and a tent.

If my host has an instrument, I will most likely pick it up and write/play a song. :) We have rehearsed a few songs with vocal harmonies, and hope to write more/learn new songs. We wish to experience Scottish nature, landscapes, cities and get to know people.

My interests are videography, photography, DIY-projects, playing music, dancing, green living, climbing and meeting people. I am active in the Nordic folk music community, and I love to jam with my guitar, shaker and learning new songs to sing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Today I found a toad outside and I brought it inside to show it to my boyfriend. I was so certain I had just found my new pet. Then it peed all over me. Other amazing things I've done: I have found a boyfriend who accepts that I bring random animals inside.

I can play a pirate song about a girl who wants to grow up to become a pirate, so she can find some enemies and steal their rum.
I can share my salad dressing recipe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love talking and seeing your view on your city and area. I love picking up the guitar and singing, and I'm good at figuring out fun events to attend together. I am good at cooking plant based and vegetarian meals.
