About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see and experience as many people and places as we can. Traveling has always been a dream of mine.

ABOUT ME

Curiously creative, Fine Artist, Movie Fanatic, Music Lover, Tree Hugger. My boyfriend Colin and I are lucky enough to be able to travel across the world together. We have chosen to move to Australia and are very excited to meet new people and immerse ourselves in the local culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Only take what you can give back. For all of the most important things, the timing always sucks. Waiting for a good time to quit your job? The stars will never align and the traffic lights of life will never all be green at the same time. The universe doesn’t conspire against you, but it doesn’t go out of its way to line up the pins either. Conditions are never perfect. “Someday” is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you. Pro and con lists are just as bad. If it’s important to you and you want to do it “eventually,” just do it and correct course along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We can't wait to see all the doors couch surfing opens for us including all the incredible people we will meet. On top of everything though, we cant wait to be able return the wonderful experiences we will have, by being able to host future couch surfers and travelers ourselves.

Interests

I like to make art and occasionally I even like to look at art. I have an affinity for the outdoors and love nature and music. Most importantly, I've always wanted to travel and this adventure with Colin will be the greatest of my life thus far. We love exploring, hiking, swimming, and seeing all the beautiful places this world has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love almost all movies, read mostly fiction but some non fiction and I love almost all music; bluegrass indie rock is perhaps my favorite genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled cross country and stood on the cliffs of California and dove into the chilly waters of the Pacific.

Teach, Learn, Share

Our goal isn't just to see the world, it is to experience as many different cultures and traditions as we possibly can. We want to be able to learn and grow together with the people we meet along the way and contribute as much as we can. To use our knowledge of the arts, economics and social humanities to experience and give back to the new people and places we go.
