Hey guys!

My name is Julien, I'm a young travels addicted who has spend most of his life playing drums for bands in Belgium. I still play (and if you ever need a drummer in your band at the other side of the world, I'm your guy) but I went back to school to study computer science. So i'd say I'm a mix of I'm a mix of pseudo adventurer and geek :D

Anyway, I'm always in for meeting new people and I'm looking forward...to meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel with the minimum...a tent, a blanket, another pair of socks. It works in the nature. But I want to discover new cities too. And when it comes to that, you have to have money.

OR, you can try to meet people and money can't buy that.

For me that's the best way: there are people in a city, so if you want to discover a city, you have to meet the people. That's math.

So, I'm on Couchsurfing because I travel with my bag, I don't want to go in hotels, book AirBnb's. I want to meet people, offer a beer, cook a diner to a guest while we talk and maybe crash on a couch. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to work in a bar for 4 months in ski resort because I wanted to ski for 4 month and be paid for it. Leave my job in telecom company to work as mascot in an amusement park to be able to move on with my musical career. Doing a 12 hours return travel by train to see my new girlfriend for 30 min. Driving for 4 hours to piss in the sea. Cycling 700 km along the Danube to go to a wedding in Romania because I didn't want to take the bus...
