ABOUT ME
I grew up in the French countryside next to Asterix's village. I have been living in UK for the last 5 years where I completed a PhD in aerospace engineering on performance assessment of hybrid engines for helicopters. I am an outdoor and very active person. Everyday I go kayaking, cycling, climbing... I have been coaching whitewater kayaking for many years. I am also a light sleeper, getting up early to do as much as possible with the little time we have.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

Thanks to my studies I met a lot of fantastic people from around the world. I am now trying to go see them wherever they are and I would like to make new friends along the way. Therefore, couchsurfing seems a natural move for me.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

The one thing that comes to my mind is the Devices to Westminster canoe race in 2016. It is a 125 miles long canoe race with 77 portages which finishes just downstream of Westminster Bridge in London. It took me 22h30 to finish. It was bloody painful but an indescribable joy at the crossing line.
Also ran a marathon, climbed a mountain at 6500m in boliva, kayaked extrem rivers in Ecuador and Peru, motorbike roadtrip in Colombia, swan with hundreds sharks in Galapagos...

I am a kayak instructor on my spare time. I can bring you on bivouacs on remote islands or down white water torrents.
Or I can teach a little of french cuisine but very little
