ABOUT ME

I am French and moved to the U.S five years ago to run track for the University of Southern Mississippi. As of right now, I am about to finish my master and will be working very soon. We love travelling , meeting and talking to people from different cultures, hiking and roadtripping. (Julien)

I'm a good ol' Alabama girl that graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Psych degree that I now use as a dinner placemat (the diploma that is). After a brief stint in law school and a while spent working in corporate America, I'm taking a little break and trying to enjoy the beautiful things this life has to offer before heading back to reality (Haley).

We met on a flight back to the states from London a little over a year ago and have traveled quite a bit this past year ( NYC, Jamaica, France ). We are fun, outgoing, happy people that enjoy meeting new people and visiting new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have used Couchsurfing sporadically when we go on vacation/when hosting people, but we have loved every single (almost^^) time we couchsurfed/hosted.

兴趣

We are interested in a vast array of things. From politics to religion, from psychology to life style, from travel to movies, arts and music - we are fairly eclectic. Coming from a different country and having different backgrounds triggers our interest in other cultures.

Far too many to list. Last movie watched together was Crash, trying to go back and watch everything that's won Best Picture. Books... so many but especially anything by Jonathan Safran Foer (Haley). Last live music we saw together was Pete Yorn at WorkPlay theater in Birmingham, AL. We love it all!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Moved to the US to live, only barely knowing English and having never visited it before (Julien).

Moved to a tiny town in Sicily where I knew no one for the summer after feeling a need to get away and throwing a dart at a map one night (Haley).
