Overview
About Me
Grew up in Edmonton. Recently moved back from a work term in Calgary. I've got some pretty nerdy interests, but you should really expect that from an engineering student. I like physics, math, etc. and I also like politics, history and languages. Don't worry though; I also like non-nerdy things like dancing, getting drunk, going on random adventures, and food (I eat pretty much every day), so we should get along just fine. If you don't like any of those things, I don't know how you're even human, but I'd love to find out so don't feel afraid to message me anyway.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A year and a few months ago, I got back from Germany, where I lived for half a year. It was an awesome experience for me and it was only made more awesome by joining CS. I met some great people while traveling around Europe and had some great times and alot of that was thanks to CS, so I'm certainly planning on staying on the app. Now, though, it's my turn to give back and show people my home. I love my city and I love the idea of showing it off to others. I also miss the near constant cultural exchange I experienced while traveling and so, while waiting to set out again, I want to keep meating interesting people from interesting places.

Music, Movies, and Books
In terms of music, I enjoy basically everything but I lean slightly towards alternative rock. I've got alot of music on my phone that you've probably never heard of, and I'd love to hear yours.
I usually like comedies, documentaries, and action movies.
Adventure books are great. I like authors like Jules Vernes and Rick Riordan; cool stories that are extraordinary but still fit together into a coherent narrative.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first time drinking was getting tipsy with friends off beer we bought from a cocaine dealer. I was 15, we were in his basement, and his basement was in a small town in northern Nicaragua.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm thinking some good times and some interesting conversations. I can also bring my bottle Canadian maple whiskey if you want to try.
