I am currently a PhD student in sociology working on literary & scientific writings, and on what makes us believing in a hypothesis (and how texts create beliefs).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling a lot for my research, undertaking fieldworks or signing research contracts with universities around the world, meeting scientists, authors, publishers, visiting bookstores, libraries, laboratories... And I figured very quickly that couchsurfing is the best way a) to get to know local people who already know the place where I go, and b) to meet travelers and discover new things.

Interests

I spend most of my time, but sometimes, I also waste it, and unfortunately, it happens that, somewhere, somehow, I lose part of it. Just note that I have the habit to put my habits into perspective. I wonder: "Why do I do that thing everyday? Is that "normal"?" I wonder: "How the society I grew up influences me in my everyday life?"
