Overview
About Me
Using: www.bewelcome.org/ The same as Couchsurfing but still as non-profit organisation.......
and www.warmshowers.org to host some people cycling around the world...
CURRENT MISSION
Back to france after traveling during 2 years on my bicycle in central and south America!
ABOUT ME
I am easy going, open minded, well balanced and have good manners...can be a bit shy at first... I am curious about life and our world and I like to learn new things and explore place which are unknown for me. After 30 years I kind of know who I am and what are my strengths and weakness. With that I try to make the best out of it...
I enjoy my time alone (on the bike or doing something else...) but I love to spend time and exchange thought and experiences with people. 2-3 or 4.... With more people or big groups, things tend to get more superficial and I kind of feel lonely then...
Therefore I am not really a party guy but I like sometime when things get a bit crazy.
When couch surfing, I always try to make people feeling comfortable and always ready to help. And I know also when to stay discreet
PHILOSOPHY
One life in an absurd world: Let's try to make the best out of it!
Inspired by: Epicure, Darwin, Nietzsche, Thoreau, Camus, Michel Onfray
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met many incredible, sweet and generous persons. I love to cook and learn so many things with CS peoples!
Simple and true people ( not pretending to Be someone )are just the people i like the most...
Interests
Learning and enjoying the beauty of this planet:
Simply curious about this world, how things or humans work and live together. Therefore I like reading, listening or talking about history, psychology, economy, politic, philosophy....
I like to learn more practical things too: how to cook, how to do things and how work different things or tools.
I love to work on my bonsai when in France: trying to guide a living and growing mater to something esthetically beautiful is a great and infinite challenge!!
Exploring new places and to see how things get organized around it is a great source of knowledge and inspiration.....
Music, Movies, and Books
Movie: Children of men, Darren Aronofsky's movies, Gaspard noe's ones.
Books: classics (if they are famous and haven't be forgotten, it is because they are worth it! ) Enjoyed: Walden, voyage au bout de la nuit, Steinbeck,...
Got into camus's books: brilliant and so true and precise....
AUDIOBOOKS: one year that I am listening audiobook. That is so great, they provide access to some book that I would have never read it: too long or not that easy to read. In 18 month of traveling on a bike I listen to a lot of them (thanks to bookshouldbefree.com and litteratureaudio.com FREE) My best suprised were: The Gallic Wars from julius Cesar, Gulliver's Travels from swift
