ABOUT ME

Julien : The more I work in software development, the more I want travelling and the more I want to get back to simple little things... Eternal dreamer, travelling is for me more than a way to escape from the 'real life', that's why I'm working for... Working to travel, travelling to survive ! No seriously, I have always enjoyed travelling, maybe because I've spent a big part of my life in the city I grew up, because I've always been near the mountains, the ocean or the sea and I have always wanted to see what was behind... I love people too, not in a philantropic way, but because I think I can learn from anyone as well as I can teach something, even just a smile... I can be a bit pragmatic but I don't judge anybody on things I don't know or situtations I can't get, I'm travelling in order to learn and I can say I'm open-minded in a modest way (like a lot of other CS members actually).

Marine : I like the unexpected and trips are always. To discover, to taste, to smell… I am curious about life. A life would not be enough to satisfy my trip appetite ! That’s why I early left my parent’s house for a mobile life.
Graphic designer junior, I’m fascinated by every form of art.
I play the piano, I dance, I paint and I love cooking! I like walking in the woods (without bears), wandering at the edge of the ocean, climbing till the top of a mountain or a volcano. I like great wilderness and the idea that we can run through thousands of kilometers around our planet. I want to change my trips and the way they evolve, by meeting unique people such as you, so that one day you could be part of the stories I’ll tell my kids ! (:D).
I want your sofa to drink a beer, exchange about our lives and and… huuum… to sleep of course !
I want to bring back home every moment I’ve spent on the road, and let ‘the unexpected’ happening !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the moment, we are travelling across North America so we're just going to be surfers during this trip. When we'll be back to France and will have a fixed home, we'll start a new experience as hosts ! We shared that experience when we were roommates, and it gave us the taste to try it as a couple.

We are curious about everything ! We love music, photography, movies, paintings, graphic design, reading, hiking, skiing, any sports related to the mountain, we like cooking, wine and cheese as well as beer and chips and of course we like travelling !

Marine plays the piano and Julien the guitar, but we also practice ukulele, melodica, harmonica and kalimba...
