I would like to start traveling more and feel that couch surfing will be a good way to get my traveling off on the right foot

ABOUT ME

I joined couch surfing in 2009 prior to leaving for a seven week journey through Brazil. I had had some really positive experiences thus far and would like to get more involved in the project now that I am settled in the DC Metro area. It seems silly but I am going to put my height in here as everyone I have met has made a comment about it. I am 6ft tall (183cm). This is not notably tall but everyone seems to be surprised when they meet me. I enjoy dancing, traveling, reading, volunteer work, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

My most favorite book recently is: In Caliph's House by Tahir Shah. Amazing and very funny book. A true story of a man who moves his family from comfortable London to a house in Casablanca.
