I am Julien, 24. French guy. I am from Dijon, France. I used to be a high-level swimmer.

At 18, I moved to Bordeaux, France for my studies. After 7 months, I stopped as it wasn't for me. I worked 2 years as a carpenter. In July 2015, I start scuba diving. Since, I have never stopped. Within 9 months, I became PADI instructor. I got the chance to work in Sardinia and in the Maldives.

I am fascinating by underwater world, especially orca. One of my life goal is to dive with it. My friends say I am very easygoing, I love making jokes and I am full of happiness and humour.

I am engaged to save the ocean from plastic pollution. I co-founded my charity, Blutopia. With Malaury, our mission is to rid the ocean of plastics by giving solutions to citizens and organisations. #blutopiatour2019

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am back on couchsurfing for the Blutopia Tour. From January to July 2019, Malaury and I will be travelling in South-East Asia and in Australia to meet at least 28 entrepreneurs with solutions to clean-up the ocean, transform the debris, raise awareness and reduce plastic production. The goal of this journey is to make a documentary about all the meetings and show the world solutions do exist and we need to act, now!

We really want to local people and understand their culture, discover new things and learn from our meetings.
