About Me

I'm currently living in Fernie, BC

CURRENT MISSION

To make some moneys to travel the world and experience new cultures and languages and to meet more amazing people!

ABOUT ME

I'd say I'm a pretty open minded person. I am always willing to try something new.
I never stay in one place too long if I don't have to. I absolutely love learning and talking about different cultures and learning new languages.
Some say I'm too nice and too Canadian (for saying sorry all the time). But personally I think I'm a terrible Canadian because I'd rather be in another country traveling.

A quote that I feel has described me perfectly for a long time...
"I'm not sure what I'll do, but well, I want to go places and see people. I want my mind to grow. I want to live where things happen on a big scale." -F. Scott Fitzgerald.

PHILOSOPHY

Do your best and forget the rest. Take chances. Tell the truth. Fall in love. Spend all your cash. Get to know someone random. Be random. Say I love you. Sing out loud. Dance like no ones watching. Laugh till your stomach hurts. Tell someone how much they mean to you. Cry. Apologize. Tell a jerk what you think. Live life. Never regret anything that made you happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like alternative indie rock and folk. I also love classic rock and electro.
I love any movie that will teach a good life lesson at the end, or open ones mind to new ideas and thoughts. I love adventure/extreme sports movies, and foreign films.
Books, I love the classic novels. I love Robinson Crusoe, Journey to the centre of the earth, Great Gatsby, Life of Pi, Great Expectations, White Fang..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Taiwan for a year, and that was truly life changing. I learned all about their culture and how to speak Chinese and a little bit of Taiwanese. That place was amazing. The temples, the food, and the people all left me in awestruck.

Last summer I went to Lima, Peru for 2 weeks with a group for a humanitarian expedition. There we built a school and cafeteria. I never worked so hard for such an extended period of time in my life. The entire experience was amazing. The peruvian children, and the peruvians in general. Also the incredible view of Machu Piccu.

I was an Aupair in Paris for a year and I definitely learned a lot about managing time, money, and children. I feel I have grown a lot and that I have become more mature in living with reality. But that doesn't stop me from dreaming! France has definitely left me in awestruck with it's histroy, chateuxs, and beautiful landscapes. Can't forget about food!
I was also an aupair in London for 6 months. I met so many incredible people there. I made a lot of good friends. London has so many cute villages within it's splendid city.
I went skydiving with some friends here in Canada.
I've competed a lot in horse competitions.
